Laurium’s new splash pad will open today.
The pad is the latest addition to the George Gipp Recreation Area, and is available for use by anyone.
The ribbon-cutting will take place this afternoon at 1:00, with free ice cream treats.
Bring a towel.
Meanwhile, the new pickleball courts have officially opened at the Lake Linden park.
Village officials noted on a social media post that some accessories, including benches and signs, have yet to be installed.
