Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly is preparing to serve Easter meals to seniors throughout the region on April 5.
The organization will host six in-person meal sites and operate six delivery headquarters to bring dinners to seniors who cannot leave their homes. The annual event brings the community together for fellowship, service and food.
Little Brothers relies on Copper Country volunteers to help cook, set up dining halls, provide entertainment, clean up and deliver meals to seniors’ homes. The organization hosts holiday meal programs throughout the year.
Seniors planning to attend an Easter meal site must call ahead and register by March 30. Those interested in meal delivery should also register by the deadline.
Volunteers interested in helping with Easter meals or other Little Brothers programs year-round can find information and registration details online. The organization provides a list of Easter meal sites and delivery headquarters on its website to help community members plan their participation in the April 5 celebration.
