MI TRALE closes a section of the Bill Nichols Trail due to a culvert washout

MI TRALE reports a temporary trail closure on the Bill Nichols Trail. A section of the off road trail was flooded by rushing water due to a culvert washout. MI TRALE says the trail has been closed at the intersection of m26 in Mass City. DO NOT go around barricades placed on the trail. The organization notes part of the washout is underground. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources will work with MI-Trale to fix the trail section as soon as possible. MITRALE will ask off road vehicles to use the G Trail running through Mass City, traveling south to Rousseau Road East over the OC and back north to the Bill Nichols Trail.
