Hancock Public Schools has voted to approve the proposal for a city millage to fund a new district library in a special committee meeting last Friday. During the meeting, the committee corrected the proposal phrasing to reflect the actual millage value of 0.7 mills, the final proposal was accepted unanimously. The proposal will appear on the ballot for district members this upcoming November election.
The new district library will serve the Hancock Public School system as well as the City of Hancock. For more information, click here.
