Music will fill the streets of South Range this Fourth of July as the community celebrates with live performances and family-friendly activities.
The day begins with a flag-raising ceremony in the morning, featuring the local high school choir alongside veterans and the South Range Fire Department. As the town fills with residents throughout the day, local bands will take the stage.
“Kap n’ Dee will play at 3 p.m. at the 1902 Tap and Grill. Super Suits will perform at the VFW Hall starting at 3:30 p.m.,” said organizer Mike Rainier. “At 7 p.m. Tom & Dirk will play at the ballfield pavilion. So we’ll have a lot of good rock and roll and country music.”
Community activities begin at 11 a.m., including touch-a-truck and fun in the park. Local businesses, first responders, and organizations will line up for the parade at 1 p.m., with the parade starting at 2 p.m.
