Coming off a historic, record-breaking year, Shaboozey is doubling down on his storytelling roots. The “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” hitmaker has officially announced his fourth studio album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee and Other Western Tales, set for a July 31 release via American Dogwood and EMPIRE.
Narrated by Jamie Foxx in a fiery new cinematic trailer, the album is a full-scale western concept record. The story follows the fictional Cherie Lee on a high-stakes mission of revenge against the “Bootcut Boys,” the gang responsible for her father’s death. Fans will get their first taste of this Wild West odyssey when the lead single, “Born to Die,” arrives this Friday, April 24.
To bring the world of Cherie Lee to life, Shaboozey is launching an immersive “Cherie Lee’s Saloon” pop-up at the Stagecoach Festival this weekend (April 24–26). Following his recent Grammy win for “Amen” and his chart-dominating run in 2024, this project marks Shaboozey’s transition from a breakout star to a premier cinematic storyteller in the country-crossover space.
