Husky EATS helps students cook delicious meals at home. And now the program will help the community gain those same skills. After the semester ends the Husky EATS teaching kitchen will invite the copper country to learn from culinary experts, executive chef Erik Copeland and sous chef Ron Edwards.
Husky EATS will operate the classes over two days at a time at the eatery inside McNair Hall, with different programs covering different topics. In May the cooking classes will start will knife skills and mother sauces, before moving onto butchery, and herbs and spices later in the month. Registering for the programs will cost 50 dollars and proceeds to support the Husky EATS classes during the school year. Those interested in registering for the cooking courses with Husky EATS can find more details online.
