Dollar Bay-Tamarack City advanced to the Division Four Region 25 championship game with a 72-39 victory over Wakefield-Marenisco last night. The Blue Bolts will face North Dickinson in the title game tomorrow at 7:00 at Negaunee High School. The Nordics defeated Forest Park 65-59 in their regional semifinal.

Congratulations to the Calumet 10U AA Ice Kings hockey team, which won the 10U AA State Championship Sunday by blanking the Metro Jr. Jets from Mount Clemens 1-0 at the Colosseum. Graham Therrian scored the game’s only foal off a feed from Mason Erkkila late in the opening period. Jonah Howard earned the shutout in net, and was named Player of the Game. Calumet defeated the Copper Country Junior Huskies 3-2 in the semi-final.

Isaiah Stewart returned from his suspension last night, but the Pistons fell to the Cavaliers 113-109. Jalen Duren had 24 points and 12 rebounds, but Cade Cunningham was held to just 10 points.

The Bucks host the Hawks tonight.
MLB
The Tigers fell to the Dominican Republic World Baseball Classic team 12-4 last night in Santo Domingo. Kevin McGonigle had three hits, including a home run. He drove in three runs, and scored twice.
The Tigers will split their squad for games against Panama and the Dominican Republic today.
The Brewers lost 7-3 to the Great Britain World Baseball Classic team yesterday. David Hamilton and Akil Baddoo homered.
The Brewers will face the Cubs this afternoon.
