Graduation is already here. Tomorrow graduates and their families will file into the Michigan Technological University Student Development Complex.
Undergraduate commencement speaker Quinn Riordan will deliver an address congratulating her fellow graduates after earning a bachelor of science in applied ecology and environmental science. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.
The university expects the ceremony will last about two hours and those unable to attend in person can join the graduates and their families online. Parking for the ceremony is first-come, first-served. The university does provide handicap accessible parking across from the main doors and along the west side of Lot 22. Wheelchair accessible seating is also available during the ceremony.
All guests and graduates should expect to have their bags checked at the door. When the mid-year commencement ceremony concludes, Michigan Technological University asks guests to remain seated until after graduates have left the varsity gym.
