Michigan DNR considers continuing 10-year fishing restrictions on the Pilgrim River

The Michigan DNR may place a fishing restriction on the Pilgrim River over a 10-year period. Tomorrow, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources will host a public engagement session with the community. The meeting will review results of a 10-year study on brook trout populations and fish size. The department will determine if it will continue its harvest restriction in the Pilgrim River to one 20-inch brook trout. The meeting will begin at 4 pm on August 12th at the Franklin Township Hall.
