This year’s Bowl for Kids Sake will be held Saturday, March 16th. KBear 102.3 encourages you to form a team and take part, or support someone who is. This is a major fundraiser for U.P. Kids Big Brothers Big Sisters, and supports mentorship programs across the Copper Country. Find out how to support this valuable organization here.


The Calumet Wolverines and Portage Lake Pioneers will fight for the storied Gibson Cup – the third-oldest trophy in hockey. Games will be begin at 7:30 on Thursday (April 13th) at Dee Stadium, Friday (April 14th) at the Calumet Colosseum, and, if needed, Saturday (April 15th) at Dee Stadium.
